Classic slow cooker pot roast.
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3-4 pounds chuck roast, browned
- 4 medium potatoes, cut in quarters
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1/2 cup hot water
Directions
- Salt the roast. Brown the roast in oil over medium heat. Add the vegetables to the slow cooker. Place the roast on top and add the hot water. Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours.
