American Bacon-Cheeseburger

Homemade bacon cheeseburger with all the fixings.


  • 1 (1 pound) package baconn
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 8 slices American cheese
  • 8 hamburger buns
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • Lettuce
  • Tomatoes
  • Pickle slices
  • Mustard/mayonnase
  • Ketchup


  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet, drain.
  2. Mix the ground beef with salt and pepper to taste. Shape into 8 patties. Cook the patties on a grill or in a skillet until almost done. Top with a slice of cheese and continue heating until the cheese has melted.
  3. Place the patty on a toasted bun and top with the bacon, onion, lettuce, tomato and pickle slices. Serve with the condiments.
