- 1 package golden pound cake mix (16 ounces(
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
Directions
- Grease loaf pan and preheat oven to 335 degrees
- Sprinkle 1/2 of the almonds on the bottom of the pan
- Prepare cake batter by the directions on the package adding 1/2 teaspoon almond extract to the batter
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and top with remaining almonds
- Bake according to package directions
