  • 1 package golden pound cake mix (16 ounces(
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract


  1. Grease loaf pan and preheat oven to 335 degrees
  2. Sprinkle 1/2 of the almonds on the bottom of the pan
  3. Prepare cake batter by the directions on the package adding 1/2 teaspoon almond extract to the batter
  4. Pour batter into the prepared pan and top with remaining almonds
  5. Bake according to package directions
