All Purpose Crepe Batter

All Purpose Crepe Batter can be made sweet or savory.  Make crepes and layer them in waxed paper and store in refrigerator for future use.  


  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • for dessert crepe batter add 2 tablespoons sugar


  1. In medium bowl, mix eggs and salt. Add flour alternately with milk, beating until smooth. Beat in butter. Refrigerate batter at least 1 hour. If too thick add 1/2 tablespoon more milk. Cook in crepe pan.
