In countries around the world, the word ‘Frappe’ can mean very different things including: a milkshake, a foam-covered coffee or even a non-dairy fruit drink. In cocktail terms however, it refers a liqueur poured over shaved ice.
Ingredients
- 1 ounce absinthe
- 2 teaspoons sugar or to taste
- 1 ounce water
- Ice cubes
Directions
- Place the absinthe, sugar and the water into a blender and process until the sugar has dissolved.
- With the motor running, add ice cubes to the blender and blend until mixture becomes smooth.
- Transfer the mixture to a cocktail glass and serve immediately.
