A classic Manhattan cocktail is given an interesting new twist with the addition of Quarenta y Tres; a sweet Spanish brandy liqueur used to replace the standard incorporation of vermouth.
Ingredients
- 1/2 ounce Cuarenta y Tres
- 2 ounces bourbon
- One dash bitters
- Orange twist to garnish
Directions
- Place the Cuarenta y Tres into a rocks glass followed by the bourbon and the bitters.
- Fill the glass with ice and then garnish with the orange twist. Serve immediately.
