This cocktail is sure to impress your guests; you can find edible gold flakes to decorate the rim either online or at a specialty foods store.


  • 1 ounce Cointreau
  • 2 ounce Remy Martin XO
  • 1 ounce fresh-squeezed lemon juice
  • Edible gold flakes to garnish


  1. Place some edible gold flakes on a small plate.
  2. Lightly wet the rim of a martini glass with a cut lemon, and then dip the rim in the gold flakes to coat.
  3. Add the Cointreau, Remy Martin XO and the lemon juice, stir to combine and then serve immediately.
