This classic gourmet cocktail dates back to 1965. It’s sleek, perfectly balanced crisp taste is both comforting and refreshing.


  • 2 ounces apple brandy
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • Apple slices to garnish


  1. Pre-chill a cocktail glass by placing it into the freezer for 5 minutes.
  2. Place all of the ingredients, except for the garnish, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  3. Vigorously shake the mixture for 35 seconds and then strain into the chilled cocktail glass.
  4. Garnish the drink with the apple slices and then serve immediately.
