An interesting and unexpected combination of ingredients creates this unique and flavorful whiskey-based cocktail sour.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces whiskey
- 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 3/4 ounce maple syrup
- 1 egg white
- 1 teaspoon blueberry jam
- 1 ounce Zinfandel wine
Directions
- Place all of the ingredients, except for the wine, into a cocktail shaker and dry shake for 30 seconds to combine.
- Fill the shaker with ice and then vigorously shake for an additional 30 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into a wine glass and carefully float the wine by pouring it over the back of a spoon and into the drink; serve immediately.
