Pain-free superbirth

No birth horror story from supermodel Gisele Bündchen, who delivered her firstborn, a boy, in December 2009. She says her waterbirth "wasn't painful, not even a little bit."

She also told the TV show Fantastico, in her home country of Brazil, "The whole time, my head was so focused – every contraction, the baby is closer, the baby is closer. So, it wasn't like, 'Oh, what pain.' It was, 'With every contraction, he is getting closer to me.'"

The 29-year-old Bündchen and her husband quarterback Tom Brady named their son Benjamin.

Yet another symptom

Dry eyes

Even though you're probably preoccupied with a million other symptoms, you still might have noticed that your eyes are drier than normal. Although it's a relatively minor irritation, eye dryness is a common side effect of pregnancy.

The good news, according to the people at Prevent Blindness America, is that lubricating eye drops are perfectly safe to use while you are pregnant or nursing. You should also take care to use eye makeup that won't further irritate your eyes. Read more about this and see more beauty tips -- click here!

Real moms say

woman confused

Here's what one pregnant mom has to say about preggo brain:

I had my first "stupid" moment of this pregnancy. I went to the store yesterday to buy some fabric paint. I took my husband's car because he took my mine for the day. When I was walking out from the store to the parking lot with my son, I saw the car and tried for five minutes to unlock the door. My key wasn't fitting in, and I started to panic because my husband was [out of town] for the day, and I would have to call a taxi to get home, etc.

All of a sudden I looked in the car and realized that it had grey interior instead of a tweed color. I was trying to unlock the wrong car! My car -- same make, model, etc. -- was two cars down. People actually saw me trying to unlock the car door. I was so embarrassed.

Baby bump

From Jenni's pregnancy diary:

Week 23 has been unimpressive so far. The biggest thing that I've noticed (and Steve did too) is that my belly seems to be sticking our further and further these days. I said to Steve last night that before long I should really start to look pregnant and he looked at me like I was crazy. Apparently to him, I already do. I just don't have the cute round preggo belly yet!
