@Tracy Glass- The "PAWS" rubber boots are prob your best bet. I live in NH & use them all the time for my pitbull (who HATES getting his feet wet & has really bad reactions to the salt they use on the roads in winter) & my golden in the spring to keep the sand & mud off his feet. They fit perfectly (although they are a little like expensive balloons for their feet), don't fall off & I can reuse the same pair until they get a hole (generally 3-5 times & we walk on asphalt & gravel). They're waterproof & thin enough that they wont trip her up like some of the thicker booties can. They don't offer much WARMTH, but her feet will stay dry & clean. I also use the Ruffwear "bark n boots" occasionally in really bad weather in the winter...for anyone who goes winter hiking or walks on super-slushy, nasty roads in the winter...these are the best I've ever found (& I've gone thru a TON!), they ARE expensive...but they're SO worth it if you consider the price of replacing lost boots that fall off in deep snow that you'll never find again. They make an even taller version now than the ones I have & I'd imagine they'll offer even more staying power. Really the only option for deep snow.

I've bought the Sherpa dog boot but they wont stay on my dogs feet. I have a Lhasa Aspo, I basically just want to keep her feet dry when we're out walking in the snow & when the snow melts (we live on a dirt road). Any suggestions???

OMG I cannot wait to get these for my dogs! He will be so much happier when I let him walk, instead of carrying him because of the HOTTT AZ heat, especially on the blacktop. And my boyfriend lives in an apartment so we no longer are restricted to the grass and gravel areas! We normally just run across the lot with the dogs since his are too big to carry!! Thanks for the ideas!
