Cow wearing santa hat

Moo-ve over, Santa

A new iPad might look better under the tree, but I'm still partial to the idea of unwrapping a brand-new cow. OK, technically the cow will be living happily at Farm Sanctuary, but she'll still bring me plenty of smiles on Christmas day. And she, along with her other farm friends, can bring you loads of smiles too.

We love animals in all shapes and sizes, but caring for farm animals is something few of us would take on. Luckily, Farm Sanctuary is there to help out. By taking in farm animals in need of help, Farm Sanctuary is giving them a safe place to call home. And you can help Farm Sanctuary with their care for these animals through their Adopt a Farm Animal program, which could be the perfect gift for that animal lover on your holiday shopping list.

Comments on "A cow for Christmas? What could be cooler?"

Alexander was my Christmas gift to someone a couple years ago... he's still happily sponsored by me going into his third year in our "family." Such a great program, and having been to Farm Sanctuary in NY I can say first hand that they are top notch when it comes to compassionate care and advocacy for the rights of animals.
