Kids may have a ton of idle hours during summer months, but they also have an endless supply of sunshine and warm weather that allows them to burn some excess energy outside. But as temperatures drop, that means there's more time spent indoors, and the classic "I'm bored!" line starts getting a little overused.
In the fall and winter, it's all about the art projects.
With a little imagination, these templates will go a long way. Add some tissue paper, crayons or markers, dried noodles, sequins, buttons, beads, whatever into the mix and you've got hours upon hours of entertainment.
The printable templates ahead are great for this time of year, but they do come in handy during spring and summer too. Because even then, rain happens.
