More than an amusement park

Clown around at the Adventuredome, the Circus Circus amusement park that delivers thrills and fun for the entire family!

Right in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas, the famous Circus Circus Hotel and Casino is a playground for adults. But their Adventuredome is carnival heaven for kids! The rides and attractions are geared to every age, so families can spend an exhilarating day climbing, sporting and getting some thrills at this kid-approved destination.

Part of the circus atmosphere and general festive mood comes from the free clown shows performed several times daily on the Adventuredome's main stage. The giggles continue on the Circus Carousel, where little ones choose a favorite animal and hop aboard for a classic carousel ride. The B.C. Bus takes its riders up, down and all around the grounds, while the Drifters Ferris Wheel carries you up, away and around for a spectacular view from the top.

Junior rides are designed for smaller visitors: kids will love the leaping Frog Hopper, clamor to answer the "all aboard" call on the Miner Mike runaway coal train or play pretend pilot on the Thunderbird ride. The destination is pint-sized perfect fun!

Bigger kids board the Canyon Cars to learn about defensive driving from behind the wheel of these bumper cars, or hang on tight on the runaway Sand Pirates ship. Every rider has a front-row seat on the Disk 'O, a rocking, rolling, spinning good time. Who's that screaming? Everyone -- with a carnival combination of fear and delight as the world's only indoor double-loop double-corkscrew roller coaster speeds at 55 miles per hour through the Adventuredome.

While you're there, visit the FX Theater for age-appropriate entertainment: SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer for the little ones, Extreme Ride Theater for excitement on ice for older kids. Get wild and wet at Rim Runner: it starts with a gentle ride up a sparkling stream before the fast, furious and fun drop down a 60-foot waterfall!

Teens will beg for another turn at the Chaos ride, where they'll whirl at incredible speeds in three ranges of motion. Every ride is different and unpredictable. If you're cautious about heights, don't try the Sling Shot! This ride shoots its riders up its tower with four Gs of acceleration before dropping back down! Flip out on the Inverter -- 360 degrees of twists, turns and flips at high speed.

The Laser Blast lets you team up to fight it out with friendly laser tag... run, hide and shoot in the arena, then try rock climbing or bungee jumping indoors! Take a breather with less intense competition at the Pikes Pass 18-hole miniature golf attraction or bowl a game at Highway 66 -- the mini-bowling game with all of the fun of the big game and no ugly shoes! There's even an arcade packed with the best video games to keep everyone busy for hours.
