Attendance over the course of the fest reaches upwards of 100,000 so it can be crowded but with all of the attractions it's an excellent family outing. Featured are a host of Irish-inspired musicians, but there are plenty of other delights for families and adults alike, such as Irish comedians, Irish dancers, Irish heritage education, dancing, instrument exploration, a children's activity area, food, vendors and more. There is also a huge Catholic Mass that takes place on the Sunday morning of the festival.

Admission costs vary depending on whether you purchase tickets in advance or at the gate.

Weston Irish Festival

October and brisk fall weather means it's time for the annual Weston Irish Festival. Weston is a small community north of Kansas City nestled along the Missouri river. The festival draws nearly 10,000 and counting over the course of a three-day weekend and provides entertainment on several stages and is on the grounds of the Weston Brewing Company, established in 1842. There are tents set up around the grounds that offer food and drink as well as the best Celtic wares.

There is an admission cost for adults but children 14 and under are admitted free. There is a shuttle service offered between the festival and spots within the city of Weston.
