Second Creek Blueberry Farm

Come spend the morning or afternoon on a 70 acre farm to pick blueberries, enjoy a picnic on convenient picnic tables or simply take in some fresh air. Although new to the u-pick produce industry, Second Creek Blueberry Farm boasts the sweetest blueberries you've ever tasted, so you can pick up a package of pre-picked blueberries fresh from the blueberry field if you're short on time. Note that this blueberry farm accepts cash only, and provides buckets and drinking water, charging by the pound for these sweet treats.

Blue River Farms

U-pick blueberries, blackberries, watermelon, a wide variety of peas and beans, corn, summer squash, okra, peppers, tomato and more are plentiful at Blue River Farms and Nursery. You can also indulge in fresh pecans, including pecan cracking and shelling. This south Mississippi farm also offers visitors a picnic area to sit and enjoy your fresh picked produce, as well as restrooms for those with little ones in tow. But, be sure to call ahead to be sure there's enough for you to pick your own, or swing by for their jams, jellies, Bass pecans and pies, or local honey year round.

Cherry Creek Orchards

May through October, you can pick your own apples, blackberries, grapes, melons, nectarines, peaches, plums, and other vegetables at Cherry Creek Orchards seasonally for a fresh from the farm experience. While you're there, enjoy honey from hives right on the farm, or pick up farm grown produce already picked for your convenience. In October, you and your kiddos can embark on a u-pick farm adventure with fall pumpkins, or make an appointment with the farm crew to visit off season. This fresh orchard farm accepts cash or checks only, so come prepared.

Charlies U-Pik

Visit Charlie's U-Pik farm to pick your own strawberries in Spring, or beans, carrots, sweet corn, cucumbers, peas, and more seasonally. But, remember to bring your own bucket to avoid an $8 charge for their 5 gallon bucket. Bringing an ice chest and water, and, if you're picking okra or other tall itchy plant, be sure to come prepared adorned with long sleeves for the best u-pick farm experience. Note that this farm only accepts cash and checks, and that trees provide little shade, so it may be best to time your visit during cooler weather.

Cedar Hill Farm

Just minutes south of Memphis, Tennessee, Cedar Hill Farm is a full working u-pick farm compete with a petting zoo, pony rides, fishing pond (but bring your own poles and bait for catch and release fun) and tons of seasonal activities for a small entrance fee to the farm. Halloween brings a pumpkin patch, with haunted hayrides, the Trail of Terror and a corn maze for haunting fun. Come Christmas time, you and your family can pick your own tree and cut it down yourself. Seasonally, you can pick your own strawberries,  blackberries, score some free range chicken eggs, or stock up on cantaloupes, squash, zucchini, beans, and more, or call ahead for the picked for you selection.
