  2. Start feeding beads on the wire to form the handle.
  3. Once the handle is long enough, bend the remaining wire into a fun shape, like a triangle or a star.
  4. Trim off any excess wire with the wire cutters.

Backyard tic-tac-toe

What you'll need:

  • nine 4x4-inch pavers
  • 10 stones
  • paint
  • paintbrush
  • garden trowel (optional)

What you'll do:

  1. Lay the pavers out in a 3 by 3 pattern on the grass. For a more permanent tic-tac-toe board, use a garden trowel to dig out the area under each paver so that the top of the paver is level with the ground.
  2. Paint an "x" on five of the stones and an "o" on the other five stones. Let the paint dry.
  3. Once the paint is dry, you are ready to play with the outdoor tic-tac-toe board!

  2. Use the sandpaper to sand down any rough edges on the boards.
  3. Paint dots on the dominoes to create the numbers. Use a different color of paint for each number to make it easy for younger children to match up.
