"Cavan was born in front of my kitchen stove. We had originally planned for a water birth, but I got restless just sitting in my tub. The second I walked into my kitchen, everything just clicked, and he was out in two pushes. When my midwife handed him to me, I remember thinking, 'How did I get in the kitchen?' Literally minutes after having my son, I got up and walked to my bedroom. It was the most profound, beautiful and overwhelming moment of my life."
