Woman breastfeeding

Many women breastfeed because of all the wonderful benefits for baby, but the bond that is formed also benefits moms! Go to www.ibreastfeedbecause.com and upload, tweet or make a video comment on why you breastfeed and Ameda, a leader in breastf pump innovation, will make a donation to the Human Milk Banking Association of North America.

Those who enter will also be entered to win prizes, including a grand price of a $2,500 nursery makeover or one of 25 other prizes, such as a $50 American Express gift card. This campaign will run through September.

Celebrities are getting involved with this breastfeeding campaing as well! Bethenny Frankel of Bravo's Bethenny Getting Married shared her thoughts on breastfeeding: "Breastfeeding was very important to me because it is the healthiest option out there and has allowed me to bond with my baby in a way no one else can. Breastfeeding is such an incredible experience and I feel so lucky that I get to share my story with women nationwide through the show and Ameda's I Breastfeed Because campaign."

I loved the closeness and bonding I felt while breastfeeding my baby, plus I knew I was giving him the best possible food. It is a lot easier than washing bottles and preparing formula!
