Play mats: Even infants need to play. One of the first toys your baby can use is a play mat or play gym. Look for bright colors, bold patterns and tons of contrast to capture their tiny eyes.
One to try: The Boppy EntertainMe Play Gym is an oversized, soft fabric mat with appliquéd fabrics, a mini Boppy pillow and a plush butterfly with lights and music. You can attach other toys to the included links.
Swing: A swing is one versatile baby toy. It can soothe cranky tots, serve as a great afternoon nap spot and entertain Baby while she's awake.
One to try: The full-size Soothe in Comfort swing automatically recognizes baby's weight and adjusts swing speed accordingly. It features music, nature sounds, soothing vibration and auto shutoff after 30 minutes.
