The Verdict

If an umbrella meets your family's needs, consider our Showdown Winner, the Chicco Liteway. With a suggested retail price of $130 and frequent markdowns to around $100, it offers great value for the money. You can use it for years, and while it may not look as cool as the Zapp, it offers much more function.

This article needs to be updated to reflect current "best ofs" in umbrella strollers. Take a look at the Aprica Presto Flat and Britax B-Nimble for lightweight strollers that can also be a travel system since they accept carseats. Don't forget that even umbrella strollers can have many of the perks of high end strollers, like adjustable footrests, adjustable and/or tall handles, large canopies, and washable fabrics.
