There is no shortage of weird celebrity baby names -- in fact, the hard part is narrowing the list down! When a celebrity has a baby, everything from where the couple registers for presents to the hospital where the mom-to-be births gets examined. Perhaps it's that inherent intrusiveness that leads stars to use some truly unusual and wacky baby names? Whatever the reason, check out our pick of the top 25 weird celebrity baby names.

5. Moxie CrimeFighter and Zolten

Illusionist Penn Jillette isn't fooling anyone with the unusual names for his kids: Moxie CrimeFighter and Zolten. Do you think Zolten is a CrimeFighter with Moxie?

4. Pilot Inspektor

Some things just aren't intended to be names. Sometimes, if you want to choose an unusal name, it's better to balance it with a more traditional name. Of course, Jason Lee and Beth Riesgraf didn't get that memo when they named Pilot Inspektor.

3. Kal-El

Superman has a fan in Nicholas Cage, who named his son Kal-El ... which is the first name of the Man of Steel.

2. Jermajesty

Jerm-Jerma .... no, no, no. This name is pronounced like Her Majesty, but with a J at the start of it. That one comes from parents Jermaine Jackson and Alejandra Genevieve Oaziaza. 'Nuff said.

1. Moon Unit, Dweezil and Diva Muffin

You can't have a list of unusual celebrity baby names without mentioning the kids of Frank Zappa -- Moon Unit, Dweezil and Diva Muffin. The man (in the photo above with "Valley Girl" singer Moon Unit) is a pioneer in the naming division, for sure.

They should add little Blue Ivy Carter to this list...since when did Beyonce go this crazy? But I guess she can feel safe because she won't be teased about her name once she enters,perhaps,middle school...I mean look at who her parents are! ...same goes for the super-angelic-cute Harper Seven Beckham! Speaking of weird and unique names,look at what my parents named me...Ileana!!!!!!!

names can mean different things in different languages. For example Tom Cruise's daughter is Suri. Suri means in Estonian language (a country in Europe) '(someone) died' (past tense of the verb die) I wouldn't like to have kid's name meaning something like that...

Some of these names are more viable than others. The Angelina Jolie clan may have unusual names but they're kind of cool. I've secretly always liked Kal-El (Superman). I think probably you might want to rethink this: Spike Lee in all likelihood named his son after Satchel Paige, the best baseball player in the Negro Leagues and NOT after a messenger bag. It's more a traditional name and not so strange after all.

FYI, Satchel is the name of a pioneer black sports figure, Satchel Paige, a baseball player in the early days of (segregated) baseball. And for the record re my own name, I am Hawaiian, and my name Kehau is the short form of Kehaulani ("heavenly morning dew") because of the time of my birth. Besides some of these celeb names being stupid, they have no real meaning, other than their prents think the name is cute. That says nothing, it's empty, like some of their heads, apparently.

Celebrities are just as dumb as "regular" people when it comes to giving ridiculous names to their sweet, helpless babies!
