Recycle greeting cards into place mats!

There are a few ways to do this -- but all you'll need are:

• Scissors
• Seasonal greeting cards
• Clear contact paper

Using a small bowl as a template, cut out circles from the center of holiday cards. Arrange the circles on the sticky side of the contact paper. When you are happy with the arrangement, you can use contact paper on the top of the design, sandwiching them in between. Trim the excess off of the edge, and enjoy your holiday place mat next year!If you prefer, you can make a square template and make a more grid-like design. Alternatively, you can use a plain piece of paper as a background, and cut images from the cards and make your placemat that way!
