This adorable Bachelor baby did not want to be induced

Bachelor in Paradise fan favorites Carly Waddell and Evan Bass have announced the birth of their first child, Isabella Evelyn Bass. Baby Isabella arrived Thursday afternoon, and the couple is thrilled as they begin this next phase of their lives.

“It was a perfect birth, no problems at all. We were supposed to induce her today but Carly’s water broke 15 minutes before our alarm went off so Bella is setting her own birthday!” Bass told People in a statement. “Carly is recovering well and the baby has had her eyes open for hours. I cried a lot during the birth! We are smitten and cannot stop kissing, cuddling and adoring her.”

In an Instagram post, Waddell shared a first glimpse of little Isabella, and she's as adorable as we expected. "We are so happy to announce the birth of sweet Isabella Evelyn Bass. She weighs 6lbs 8 ounces and has currently stolen her dad’s heart," Waddell captioned the photo. "The birth was amazing with no complications and I’m high over the moon with happiness... also high from pain meds."

Isabella is Waddell's first child; Bass has three sons from his first marriage, so Isabella has three big brothers. Plus, something tells us she and Emerson Tolbert (the 5-month-old daughter of Waddell's BiP bestie Jade Tolbert and her husband, Tanner) have plenty of playdates in their future.

In 2016, Waddell and Bass fell in love in true romantic comedy style: Waddell was decidedly not into Bass — until he experienced a medical emergency that may or may not have been totally staged. They returned to Paradise last summer to say I do, and the rest is history.
