Parents-to-be Serena Williams & Alexis Ohanian come to grips with newborn care

You have to hand it to Serena Williams (or serve it or lob it or whatever). She may not have meant to tell the world about her pregnancy, but she sure is delighting her fans (including us) with her now-frequent updates on social media — including a recent bump picture on Instagram singing the praises of her Tempurpedic mattress for pregnancy pains.

This weekend? Williams and her fiancé, Alexis Ohanian, practiced swaddling baby dolls at a class for new parents — and Williams Snapchatted the adorable results.

“Good swaddling, Serena! Yes,” Williams congratulates herself in one Snap video before turning to her soon-to-be husband and chiding, "Look at this student. Oh, what happened?”

(Let's just say Williams' partner in parenting may need some extra classes to get swaddling down... his poor toy doll didn't fare as well as hers.)

Ohanian didn't seem surprised by his future wife's swaddling prowess. In an interview earlier this month with CNBC's Squawk Box, he said of Williams, "She's awesome at a lot of things, and she's well on her way to being an awesome mom." Yeah. We get that feeling too, Alexis.

Ohanian also said he'll be taking time off to be with the baby (and we're sure he'll get the swaddling down before then). "I'll be taking off for six weeks myself," he said, "and trying to do the best job possible as a first-time dad."

Actually, we have a pretty good feeling that both of them will get the hang of this new-parent thing really fast. (Our advice? Think of burritos, Alexis, when swaddling. Gotta keep all that filling in.)
