Roman is Vodianova’s second child with partner Antoine Arnault and little brother to 2-year-old Maxim. The 34-year-old is also mom to Lucas, 14, Neva, 10, and Viktor, 8, from her previous marriage to Justin Portman.

Vodianova described her newborn as "a beautiful little shrimp" and admitted that she was "a bit tired, but ready for a big summer!"

The model shared several pictures of her pregnancy on Instagram, including a beautiful black-and-white image of herself looking down at her baby belly with the caption, "Nine long joyous months followed by one joyous lifetime."

Roman, meaning "a Roman," is a popular boy name in Russia. Its biblical meaning is "strong, powerful." Which is just as well, as he'll have to fight for his place as the youngest of five! The name has enjoyed a surge in popularity in the U.S. in recent years, narrowly missing out on the top 100 baby boy names chart last year by two places.

Other famous moms who've chosen Roman for their sons include actresses Cate Blanchett, Debra Messing and Molly Ringwald. Producer Harvey Keitel and actors Peter Krause and Michael Peña also have sons named Roman.

There’s no doubt that this mom of five is completely devoted to her children. "A mother’s love for her child is like nothing else," she recently wrote on Instagram. "Nothing can stop you seeing them as perfect, no matter how many wrinkles they give you."
