Trump, 34, shared the happy news on Instagram, gushing that she and her husband, as well as siblings Arabella and Joseph, are “incredibly blessed” by the new addition to their family.

Theodore is a classic baby boy name that has Greek origins and means “God given.” This name has been climbing up the Social Security Administration’s top baby name lists and currently sits at number 126 (last year it was at 169). Noah is currently the most popular baby name in the United States. We suspect that he may also go by the adorable nickname of Theo. Actress Ali Larter and her husband also named their son Theodore, while Bryce Dallas Howard skipped the longer version of the name and chose Theo for her son.

The middle name of James is a huge trend among celebrity parents — especially for girls. Kristin Cavallari named her daughter Saylor James, Jennifer Love Hewitt has an Autumn James, and Jessica Capshaw has a Poppy James. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds picked James as the first name of their daughter. Despite the popularity of James for girls among the celebrity set, most Americans pick the name James for boys. In fact, the Social Security Administration lists James as the ninth most popular baby name for boys.

Trump shared this sweet snapshot with her newborn son, Theodore James, gushing that her “heart is full.”

Some may be surprised that she didn’t name her newborn son after her father, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. In fact, in addition to the nickname Theo, Ted is also a nickname for Theodore — as in Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz. That may be stretching it a bit, but worth noting.

And of course it's the name of our 26th president, Theodore Roosevelt, so certainly befitting a politician.

There will soon be another baby born this presidential election, as Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, is currently pregnant and expecting her second child with her husband.
