A baby red kangaroo named Jimmy is the cutest addition to a family in Wisconsin.

Jimmy joined Diana and Larry Moyer's home when he was just 3 months old and has been bringing joy into their lives ever since.

The 9-month-old lives inside their static caravan, and he eats with them, sleeps with them and is pretty much a baby, as he even wears nappies and human clothes.

But Jimmy also has a very special purpose: He was a gift to help Diana with her recovery from cancer.

"I got Jimmy because I had cancer. So I'd have Jimmy to deal with and not sit here and worry about my cancer," Diana revealed. "Jimmy helps me by just being here, just keeping me comfortable and safe."

The adorable little creature is super loving, and although he attracted the attention of the cops once during an outing to a fast-food restaurant, Diana insists he is not in the slight bit dangerous.

"If I run into somebody that says Jimmy might be dangerous, I would say you have to meet him, and you'd need to come and spend some time with Jimmy and find out how gentle and loving he is," she said.
