When son doesn't call home from college, mom takes brilliant action

What do you do when, after 18 years of your love, patience, frustration and complete devotion, your child goes off to college and seems to forget all about you? Some might just accept it as part of life and cry silent tears in their empty nest, but mom Ann Pinto McCarney wasn't about to let her son, Liam, get away that easy.

In a brilliant video that's gone viral, she says what moms across the country surely feel when their children seemingly forget all about them. From her C-section scar to driving him to karate, she reminds him in the most hilarious way of all the things she did for him. In the end, there's even a threat.

Well guess it's safe to say that Liam McCarney is well adjusted at college! That being said a Mammas gotta call him out!

While college is a huge adjustment for students, it's also one for parents. While we want our kids to spread their wings and soar, a little acknowledgment to those back in the nest is nice too. This not-so-subtle sarcastic reminder is just perfect.

We're guessing Liam has picked up the phone by now.
