Kate Middleton is just like us... well, sort of. The Duchess of Cambridge likes snapping photos of her kids just as much as we do. In fact, Kensington Palace shared via Twitter these sweet family photos of 1-year-old Prince George holding his baby sister, Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, who was born on May 2.
“The photo of Prince George and Princess Charlotte was taken by The Duchess of Cambridge in mid-May,” the Palace revealed via Twitter.
Although most of us probably take photos of our kids with our iPhones, Middleton used a Canon EOS 5D Mark II camera, which retailed for $2,499.
In another set of photos, Prince George adorably kisses Princess Charlotte.
Her Royal Highness the Princess of Cambridge (which is Princess Charlotte’s official title), who is fourth in line for the throne, looked adorable in an Irulea white sweater with white pants and socks. This outfit was a gift from her nanny, Maria Borrallo. The Princess looks like she might have dark hair like her mom, while Prince George is a mini version of his dad, Prince William.
Prince George looks dapper in a Rachel Riley white button-down top with blue trim, which is paired with blue shorts and black shoes.
The Palace revealed earlier today that they would be releasing these photos. "We'll be posting a very special photo of Prince George & his little sister Princess Charlotte late tonight. Can't wait to share it with you!” Kensington Palace tweeted. This is the first time that this type of photo has been revealed from the Palace via social media.
The photos were taken inside the couple's country home, Anmer Hall, during "private family time," a Palace source told People.
