Actress and Real Girl's Kitchen host Haylie Duff gave birth on May 11 and welcomed her first child, a baby girl, with her cute fiancé Matt Rosenberg.
"Haylie Duff and fiancé Matt Rosenberg welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on Monday, May 11 in Los Angeles, California. Both mom and baby are doing great! Haylie and Matt are thrilled to finally meet their baby girl and become a family of three," their rep said in a statement to E! News.
Although we have yet to see a picture of their daughter, they did reveal her adorable tomboy name: Ryan.
Ryan is a baby boy name of Irish origin that means "kingly." The organization that keeps track of the popularity of baby names based on birth certificates, the Social Security Administration, ranks Ryan as the 37th most popular name for boys and it is ranked number 510 for girls.
Tomboy names for girls are a huge trend with celebrity parents. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher kicked off the trend when they named their daughter Wyatt, followed by Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds who named their baby girl James. From the looks of it, this baby name trend is not going anywhere.
Duff, 30, was reportedly overdue with little Ryan and went to this hospital this past weekend to be induced. We are sure that Duff's little sister, Hilary Duff, is excited for her son Luca to have a cousin to play with. Hilary actually threw Haylie her baby shower and she posted this cute picture of the sisters together.
What's next for Duff? She and Rosenberg will settle into parenthood and then start planning their wedding. "It's pretty cool to think now our daughter is going to be at our wedding," Rosenberg told Us Weekly.
