Animated toy monkeys recalled due to burn hazard

Around 13,000 animated toy monkeys sold exclusively at Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores have been recalled due to a serious burn hazard.

Product description: This recall focuses on Animated Sing-Along Monkey toys from Giggles International. The monkey is brown and beige and stands around 9 inches tall. It comes with (and is designed to hold) a song book titled 5 Little Monkeys. When activated, he sings the song.

The monkey has a few identifying marks. You'll find a red music note on the bottom of the monkey's right foot, and the face of a child with its hands covering its eyes is on the bottom of the monkey's left foot.

They were manufactured between June 7, 2014, and July 5, 2014, and have batch code GP1410028. Both the date and the batch code are printed on the bottom of a white fabric label attached near the base of the monkey's tail.
