These apple cinnamon bubbles are beautiful and smell amazing. And they are so quick to create. You might even have everything you need to make these already in your home.
In a dish, combine approximately 1 cup of water, 1/2 cup of dish soap, 1/4 cup of corn syrup, a few drops of food coloring and a few drops of fragrance. Mix this solution gently until well combined.
Because this recipe includes fragrance and dish soap, I do not recommend ingestion. So this bubble recipe is best used with older children who will not accidentally ingest the liquid. It may be tempting for young ones to drink because of the color and scent, so be sure to keep it out of reach of little ones.
If you would like to blow the bubbles in an apple (which is really quite fun), use a cookie scoop to remove part of the middle of the apple.
Then pour a bit of the bubble recipe into the apple.
You can use a straw to blow the bubbles directly in the apple. Because of the corn syrup, these bubbles will continue to grow without popping. It is so much fun to watch the bubbles overflow the apple. This is so much fun for kids to do. And adults too.
If you want more of a traditional bubble experience, you can put the liquid into a pretty container and make a little wand with a piece of metal wire. The bubbles will still work really well and you and your children will have a blast playing with them.
Let your kids blow away. These bubbles are so much fun to use. And they smell amazing. You can, of course, customize these to any scent you prefer, but for the fall, apple-cinnamon bubbles are the perfect kind to make.
Before the weather turns too cold, take advantage of these last few warm days and enjoy being outside. Homemade bubbles are the perfect way to do this.
