Mommy tweets: Rachel Zoe’s baby Kai, Jessica Simpson's diet, Jenny McCarthy

Kim Grundy is a mom, writer, expert laundry folder and sandwich maker, not necessarily in that order. Raised in Oklahoma, she is now a West Coast gal and lives in California with her husband and two sons, along with one dog, two fish (oo...

Celebrity moms on Twitter

What was on the minds and Twitter feeds of our favorite celebrity moms this week? Rachel Zoe shared the first pictures of her baby boy, Kaius Jagger, while Jessica Simpson posted several pictures of her slimmed down post-baby body. Jenny McCarthy took to Twitter to slam recent reports and set the record straight about her son Evan and his autism diagnosis, while cute couple Fergie and Josh Duhamel round out our list.

Rachel Zoe

It’s another boy for celebrity stylist and designer Rachel Zoe and her husband Rodger Berman.

Zoe, who also has a 2-1/2-year-old son named Skyler, welcomed her second child on Dec. 22.

“So excited to welcome our baby boy into the world...he's 7 lbs 12 oz, beautiful, healthy and we couldn't be happier,” she tweeted.

“Meet the newest member of our family, Kaius Jagger,” she tweeted on Dec. 23, linking to her website that featured the following sweet announcement:

“As loyal readers of The Zoe Report, I wanted you to be the first to see a picture of the beautiful new addition to our family, Kaius Jagger Berman, aka “Kai”. Rodger, Skyler and I are madly in love and will be happily hibernating for the next couple of weeks. Thank you for all of your kind words, as they mean so much to us. Wishing you and your family a wonderful holiday and Happy New Year!”

The name Kai is a Hawaiian name that means, “the sea.” Jennifer Connelly also has a son named Kai and Donald Trump Jr. has a daughter by the same name. Naomi Watts used Kai as a middle name for her son Samuel. What do you think of the name Kai?

Jessica Simpson

Hot mama! Jessica Simpson shared this picture showing off her baby weight loss in a black form-fitting dress.

Simpson, who is the spokesperson for Weight Watchers, has obviously been working hard to get back in shape after giving birth to her second child, son Ace, last June. She gave birth to Ace just 14 months after her daughter Maxwell was born — so, if you are doing the math, she has basically been pregnant for two years!

“LIVE with Kelly and Michael! Thx y'all! Had a blast,” she tweeted on Jan. 8, sharing another picture of her wearing a floral dress that showed off her tiny waist.

The 33-year-old singer famously lost 50 pounds on Weight Watchers after giving birth to her daughter Maxwell. She hasn’t said how much she lost this time around, but said she exercised and went on walks with her husband during her second pregnancy and, of course, followed the Weight Watchers diet.

In the meantime, Simpson shared this adorable photo of her daughter Maxwell bonding with her 5-year-old cousin, Bronx Mowlgi, who is the son of her sister Ashlee Simpson.

Jenny McCarthy

The View co-host Jenny McCarthy took to Twitter to address rumors that her 11-year-old son Evan does not have autism.

“Stories circulating online, claiming that I said my son Evan may not have autism after all, are blatantly inaccurate and completely ridiculous,” she tweeted. “Evan was diagnosed with autism by the Autism Evaluation Clinic at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital and was confirmed by the State of California (through their Regional Center). The implication that I have changed my position, that my child was not initially diagnosed with autism (and instead may suffer from Landau-Kleffner Syndrome), is both irresponsible and inaccurate. These stories cite a "new" Time Magazine interview with me, which was actually published in 2010, that never contained any such statements by me. Continued misrepresentations, such as these, only serve to open wounds of the many families who are courageously dealing with this disorder. Please know that I am taking every legal measure necessary to set this straight.”

McCarthy is referring to an article on RadarOnline, which has since been deleted. She has been an outspoken advocate for autism research, and held the controversial belief that vaccines were linked to her son's autism.

Whether you agree with her beliefs or not, it is hard to deny her dedication to her adorable son. McCarthy shared this cute photo of the duo with their faces painted as cats.

Fergie and Josh Duhamel

In case there was any doubt that Josh Duhamel is the hottest celebrity dad, this picture should seal the deal! Fergie re-tweeted this picture from her hubby Josh with him snuggling their son Axl.
