Tonya Adams' son - Kids playing in fall leaves

Tonya Adams, Letters for Lucas

In the first photo Lucas is 6 months old and we are in a park in Florence, Italy. I wish I could recall the name. I love the colors, I love that he immediately put a leaf in his mouth and I especially love that Todd and I were comfortable and adventurous enough to take our new baby on such an ambitious trip. The second photo is exactly one year later, and Lucas is playing in a pile of leaves at a park in Orinda while we are in town visiting his grandparents. He was almost a year and a half. I love this photo for so many reasons, it was his first experience playing in a pile of leaves and his expression is pure delight. Plus the fall colors are warm and inviting.
