Pregnant Kate Middleton swapped her usual pastel and solid color maternity dresses for this eye-catching Dalmatian-print dress for the Princess Cruises ship naming ceremony at Ocean Terminal, Southampton.
The Duchess of Cambridge, who is due to give birth next month, is the “godmother” of the ship and christened the cruise ship by breaking a ceremonial bottle of champagne on the hull. Middleton, pictured here, stands alongside a portrait of herself during the naming ceremony.
“I name this ship Royal Princess. May God bless her and all who sail in her,“ she said.
Middleton, who is eight months pregnant, is wearing the Dalmatian Mac coatdress by Hobbs, which retails for around $265. As you may have already guessed, this animal print dress has already sold out! (Don’t worry, no Dalmatians were injured in the making of this fashion-forward frock!)
This may be the last glimpse of Kate until she gives birth to the royal baby, as a source tells The Mirror she will take maternity leave, with June 13 being her “last official solo engagement.” Her due date is rumored to be July 13, however that has not been officially confirmed by the palace.
“Kate has really enjoyed her job and wanted to work as close to the birth date as possible,“ a source reveals.
Kim Kardashian, whose due date was supposed to be around the same time as Kate’s, recently gave birth to her baby girl early.
