Duties and responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design comps including, but not limited to: company websites, branded destinations for advertisers, IAB banner ads, rich media units, collateral materials (presentation templates) and more
• Create unique designs that standout in the marketplace utilizing contemporary design principles
• Create effective, engaging designs that support business objectives, adhere to established brand guidelines and meet legal requirements, with minimal direction
• Continuously aware of emerging technologies and design styles and how they will help improve the team's creative works
• Strong working knowledge of website usability
• Producing innovative yet intuitive design solutions that address complex business, marketing and user needs
• Participate in brainstorms, take accurate notes and develop directions for visuals to support these ideas
• Exceptional understanding of design principals
• High degree of creativity and problem solving
• Detail oriented and thorough
• Ability to produce high-quality design
• Able to follow direction and meet deadlines
• Contribute ideas regarding design style and site usability
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously
• Participate in the advancement and maintenance of information architectures, folder structures and naming conventions
• Keep creative server synchronized and updated with local workstation

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in Interactive Media Design as Designer or equivalent experience.
• Must be facile with Adobe Creative Suite
• Have working knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Must be familiar with basic web design principles such as User Experience, Interactive User Interfaces, Usability, Accessibility and Image Optimization
• Must be familiar with online communities
• Must be in tune with popular culture and aware of trends
• Must be creative, detail-oriented, well organized, self-starter and have the ability to succeed in a high-paced deadline-driven environment
• Must be familiar with cross-browser and cross-platform testing and quality assurance
• Familiarity with Adobe Flash, Final Cut Pro, Maya, After Effects and Soundtrack Pro a plus
• Associates/Bachelors Degree in related field is a plus
• After Effects experience/Knowledge is a plus
• ActionScript knowledge is a plus
• Advertising Agency experience is a plus
• Print experience is a plus
