Wedding season is just around the corner, and nothing is better than offering your guests a signature drink. Base your drinks on a story about your relationship, the time of the year of your wedding or even your favorite cocktail as a couple!

Incorporate fresh, in-season fruit, local produce and any of your own personal favorite flavors. It's all about creating the perfect cocktail that not only tastes great but is a representation of you as a couple.

To help, we've put together five delicious drinks that will be sure to impress! Some of them are cold, some are warm, some use fresh fruit and some even incorporate Champagne. There's something to satisfy everyone!


Mixed berry mojito recipe

Mixed berry mojito recipe

This fresh mixed berry mojito is perfect for a summer wedding! It incorporates fresh summer berries and is light and refreshing on the palate. Your guests will love this cocktail!

Yield 1 drink


  • 6 mint leaves
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup
  • Juice of one small lime
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mixed berry puree
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 to 2 ounces rum
  • Club soda
  • Fresh berries (for garnish) 


  1. In a tall cocktail glass, add mint and simple syrup. Muddle together till the mint is bruised and fragrant. Add in berry puree, lime juice and ice.
  2. Pour in rum and fill to the top with club soda. Give it a good stir, garnish with berries and serve right away.

Note: If the berries are not very sweet, you might want to add a little more syrup.

During the cooler months it's good to have a nice creamy cocktail to help keep you warm. This white Russian totally fits the bill!

Yield 1 drink


  • Ice cubes
  • 1-1/2 ounces vodka
  • 1-1/2 ounces coffee liqueur
  • 3 ounces half and half


  1. Fill a short cocktail glass with ice.
  2. Pour vodka, coffee liqueur and half and half over the ice. Give a gentle stir and serve immediately.

Sweet sugar rimmed grapefruit martini

Everything is more fun with sparkly candy sugar! This fresh citrus martini is perfect for an outdoor wedding, and the candy sugar gives a nice sweet touch.

Yield 1 drink


  • Candy sanding sugar
  • Ice
  • 1 to 2 ounces vodka
  • 3 ounces fresh squeezed ruby red grapefruit juice


  1. Dip the rim of the martini into water and roll it in candy sanding sugar. Set aside.
  2. Add ice to a martini shaker and pour in vodka and grapefruit juice.
  3. Shake and pour into a martini glass. Serve right away.

Fresh fruit puree can add tons of flavor to almost any drink. This super simple Champagne cocktail is not only beautiful but delicious, too!

Yield 1 drink


  • 1 to 2 tablespoons fresh strawberry puree
  • Cold Champagne
  • Sliced strawberries


  1. Add the fresh strawberry puree to the bottom of a Champagne flute and top with Champagne. Garnish with a slice of fresh strawberry on the side of the glass.

Hot mulled cider

For a winter wedding, you want to be sure to offer a nice warm drink. The best part about this cocktail is that it makes a huge batch and can easily be served with a nip of whiskey, or without for the little ones.

Yield 1 gallon


  • 1 gallon apple cider or apple juice
  • 10 whole cinnamon sticks
  • 4 whole star anise
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 orange rind
  • Dark rum or whiskey


  1. In a large pot, add apple cider, cinnamon sticks, star anise, nutmeg and orange rind. Simmer until warm throughout.
  2. Ladle warm cider into a glass and add an ounce of dark rum or whiskey. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
