The experience-driven dating site HowAboutWe analyzed more than 1,000,000 dates posted on their site to get a coast-to-coast look at how America's singles date offline. We’re sharing the findings for some of our favorite cities, and this week it’s all about dating in Austin.

Dating in Austin

Austin is known by men across the country as a mecca for beautiful, intelligent women, notes relationship expert and love architect Kailen Rosenberg. “It is a great city to meet someone more genuine and fall in love.” She says that people in their late 20s and early 30s will tend to have the best luck dating in Austin because that age group in this city seems to be genuinely interested in finding their soul mates.

"It is fortunate when the right place is chosen and that definitely resonates from the start. I've interviewed women who speak fondly of their first date and how meaningful the surroundings were — whether casual or formal or somewhere in between."
