Single in NYC?

Single women of all ages say it is difficult to date in NYC and that while there are millions of people, it is also difficult to actually meet anyone, notes renowned relationships expert Susan Shapiro Barash. “Once they get past that hurdle, there are so many options for dating in NYC — from sports events to theater, to dance, museums.”

What’s in a setting?

Make a note: The choice of setting also presents the opportunity to create long-lasting memories of your first experiences together.

Where your date takes you, whether it’s Brooklyn Bowl or Central Park, can make or break your date. “The setting of a date is important because it reveals quite a bit. It can be quite telling because it does one of two things: It can create a natural ambiance and energy for love to take place or it can stir emotions that may bring back memories of the past, both good and bad,” explains Kailen Rosenberg, relationship expert and love architect. “Ultimately, it will reveal a great deal about the personality and style of the person you are with based on how they respond to the environment.”
