Costume party

If you both love getting dressed up and there are a few party invitations on offer, choose one, RSVP for two and start thinking about what you want to dress up as. Costume parties are a fun way to get to know someone new and see them in an environment where they can get a little silly. Some cute couples' costumes include Snow White and Prince Charming, Little Red Riding Hood and the wolf, infamous celebrity couples and objects that go together (e.g. salt and pepper, bacon and eggs).

Candy shop trip

What’s Halloween without candy? If you and your date love the sweet stuff, we suggest taking a trip to a local candy shop, but not just any candy shop. Choose a place that sells all the goodies you both loved as kids. Stock up and then head home to share your loot.

Scary movie night

Do you both love spine-tingling flicks? If so, choose a few for the night, pick up some snacks, dim the lights (or better yet, light candles) and cuddle up under a blanket. Just make sure you don’t decide on anything too scary. You don’t want the mood to be ruined because you’re worried about every creak and bump you hear in the house!

Haunted house walk or tour

A lot of towns and cities offer haunted house walks that allow for an afternoon or evening of Halloween fun. Take a look at your local listings to find out if there are any in your area and spend the day getting spooked. The best part: You can grab your honey’s hand any time you get scared. Giving out candy

Some neighborhoods get a lot of trick-or-treaters. If yours is one of them, why not make a night of handing out candy and interacting with all the little ghosts and goblins in the area? Have a glass of wine or cider in between tricks and treats, and spend a relaxing night getting to know each other better.

Such fun ideas! It is always fun to try and come up with new, unique ideas for couple costumes. The more creative, the better! I love staying home on Halloween and having a low key night with my guy.

My husband and I used to go out and party on Halloween, but now we prefer to stay home and let the kids trick or treat and hand out candy. After the kids go to bed we make a fun drink and watch a scary movie together!

Great ideas! My favorite thing to do with my guy on Halloween is watch scary movies, hand out candy, and make fun, spooky drinks! I love getting into the Halloween spirit, but don't really like going out as it can be too crazy.
