Everyone fudges a little bit when creating their dating profiles. A Michigan State University study found that 90 percent of people lie in their online dating profiles. That's a lot of lies. So what are the biggest lies men tell?

"I make six-figures."

Studies show that most men lie about their income by 20-25 percent on online dating sites. So that man you think has a six-figure income, probably doesn't. This lie definitely gets results, however. According to Scientific American, men claiming incomes of more than $250,000 got 151 percent more replies on online sites than men claiming incomes less than $50,000. "Now I ain't sayin' she a gold digger..."

"I'm 6 feet tall."

Men lie about their height, while more women lie about their weight. Six-feet seems to be the magic number for men. Many guys who are 5'9, 5'10 or 5'11 will say they are 6 feet tall. According to Medical News Today, 52.6 percent of men lie about their height online.

"I'm in great shape."

Obesity wouldn't be a problem in America if people were as active as their online profiles say they are. Many men will say they are "fit" or "in shape," even providing a picture that is a few years old as evidence.
