A little "relief" from government woes

One sex toy website is trying to take the stress out of the government shutdown by offering free vibrators to those "nonessential" workers.

We're now into week two of the federal government shutdown, and it doesn't look like an agreement will happen anytime soon. The situation is incredibly stressful for millions of families, but at least one company is making an effort to bring serious relief to furloughed workers.

Well, at least the female ones. Sex toy company Vibrators.com is now giving away free 5-inch vibrators to furloughed employees.
"We know you have some free time, why not try something new?"

Yes, seriously.

"Are you a federal employee that has been deemed non-essential? Do you have a little too much time on your hands and nothing to do? Is the recent government shutdown to blame?" the company writes on its website.

"Here at Vibrators.com we are committed to allowing our customers to find satisfaction. As vibrator enthusiasts, we want everyone to experience the pleasure that a nice vibrator can bring to partners and individuals. Besides, we know you have some free time, why not try something new?"

The promotion has been a huge (no pun intended) success, with over 400 vibrators reserved Sunday and Monday. Want one of your own? You'll have to wait.

"We have reached our limit for today, Tuesday, October 7th," the company writes. "Our warehouse has the capacity to send about 200 free vibrators a day without delaying our other customers' orders. Tomorrow is a new day though. Stop by at 2PM EST on Wednesday and we will release another 200 vibrators for furloughed federal employees."

We can't think of a better way to spend an unplanned vacation!
