DIY button frame artwork

A cute frame that's easy to make

Are your plain white walls in need of some cute, bright artwork? Forget spending your hard-earned cash on some overpriced piece! Instead, make a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of artwork with this bright, cheery and super-easy DIY.

All you need is a frame, a bag of your favorite colored buttons and a hot glue gun! Really, that's it! We think this easy art would be perfect for a nursery or bright country kitchen, don't you? You can customize the colors of the buttons and frame to fit your personality and your taste!

What you'll need:

• Picture frame
• Plain piece of stationery (large enough to fit frame)
• Assorted colors of buttons
• Hot glue gun

Step 1: Remove the glass and backing from frame

Carefully remove the back of the frame and the glass.

Make sure your stationery fits into the frame perfectly so there are no visible lines.

Step 2: Arrange buttons on the stationery

Pick your button colors and arrange on the stationery before you glue so you like how it looks.

Step 3: Glue buttons to the stationery

Using your hot glue gun, glue each button to the stationery.

Hold the buttons down so they stick.

Let the buttons dry about 30 minutes before moving the stationery.

Step 4: Display

Place the button sheet behind the glass and then place the backing of the frame behind the stationery.

You may need to tape the back of the frame if you used larger, thick buttons.Then, display where you'd like and enjoy!
