Hotel wellness programs
Healthy living is a core principle at the Westin Hotels & Resorts. These five Westin hotels all feature the brand's nutrient-rich SuperFoodsRx menu as well as individual wellness programs.
The Westin Phoenix Downtown
A scenic city skyline, vast mountain ranges and Arizona Sonoran Desert vistas are your view from The Westin Phoenix Downtown's WestinWORKOUT center. After an energizing workout on the state-of-the-art equipment, take a splash in the hotel's outdoor Lapis pool or relax poolside with a healthy snack from the SuperFoods menu, which also includes good-for-you packaged options. Personal wellness is the focus of the downtown Phoenix hotel's Revive the Everyday package. The special includes late checkout and breakfast for two from the SuperFoods menu. For lunch and dinner, the special menu is stocked with herbs and lettuce grown in the hotel's small on-site garden.
The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain
Spa Anjali at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain gets its inspiration from some of the world's most majestic mountain ranges. Uplifting aromatherapy from the Alps, Himalayan massage and healing therapies and energizing treatments influenced by the Rocky Mountains are all on the menu. The Ponderosa Pine Therapy borrows ancient Native American remedies to treat inflammation and muscle pain with deep-tissue massage and a heated poultice brimming with sage, pine and lavender. An alpine jewel in the Colorado mountains for adults and kids, the resort's 25-yard lap pool has a saline filtration system. Using 10 percent of the chlorine in a normal pool, the method is gentler on your respiratory system, hair, eyes and skin.
The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa
At The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa, emphasis is placed on helping you transition comfortably from day to night with the evening unwind series. While the schedule at this Georgia resort changes seasonally, past activities have included a SuperFoods Happy Hour with half-priced drinks and complimentary healthy noshes. Diversions like bicycle rentals, bocce ball and croquet will keep you on the go while fitness classes and sports clinics help you stay in shape during your stay. If what your body really craves is some downtime, make plans for a poolside movie or stargazing.
The Westin Mission Hills Resort & Spa, Rancho Mirage
Sometimes a change of scenery is all you need to hit the refresh button on mind, body and soul. There's arguably no better place to do that than the desert, which is coincidentally what surrounds The Westin Mission Hills Resort & Spa. When you've had your dose of invigorating California desert air, head to the Spa at Mission Hills where techniques range from Native American to Hawaiian. In the Noni body treatment, warm coconut milk mixes with Noni elixir for a healing and soothing experience. The spa also hosts seasonal life enrichment classes as well as guided yoga and meditation.
The Westin Beach Resort & Spa, Fort Lauderdale
The Westin Beach Resort & Spa is home to the signature Heavenly Spa by Westin. A highlight here is the Rollerssage experience, a new spin on hot stone treatments exclusive to the brand. Crystalline spheres are rolled over the body to melt away tension, relax tight muscles and restore balance to your body's energy sources. Detoxify with body experiences like the mineral-rich Seaweed Body Wrap and add on the Water Detox Soak that's packed with soothing vitamins and minerals. And, speaking of water, the resort's Florida oceanfront setting presents endless opportunity for aquatic sports like snorkeling, diving fishing and boating.
