Personalized pillowcases for kids

You will need these supplies to make one pillowcase:

• Sewing machine
• 1 yard lightweight cotton fabric
• Fabric for name applique (amount depends on size/letters)
• Letter template (optional)
• Heat 'n Bond Lite
• Thread, scissors, measuring tape, marking pen, pins
• Iron, ironing board

Step one:

To make one pillowcase, you will use exactly one yard of 45" wide fabric. First, fold under a 7" cuff on the long end of the fabric (not the selvedge edge) and press. Stitch.

Fold the case in half and press to mark the center.
