Dazzle Your
Kid's Name

Your child will love having their name on display with this name banner. With some felt, creative appliques that reflect their interests, and some teamwork, you and your child can create a name banner that can be on display in her room or play area.

What you'll need

  • 5" Felt Letters Grosgrain ribbon, 1 yd
  • Painted wood beads, assorted sizes
  • Iron-on sport appliques
  • Fabri-Tac® glue
  • Scissors
  • Masking tape

Putting it all together

  1. Tape one end of ribbon into a point so that it can easily slide through the letters and beads.
  2. Start by alternating beads and letters to make a pleasing design.
  3. Knot ends of ribbon.
  4. Attach appliques onto letters with adhesive.
  5. Allow one hour drying time before hanging.

Where to get the 5" felt letters? I went to Michaels and they didn't have any so I bought the sheets of felt and that is really difficult to cut straight with my scissors. Looked online a bit also.

What I think the kids need is:beads,glitter,plastic spoons for grtnteliig or just easy to get out of,markers,colored pencils,yarn,ruler to measure equally,Giant glue stick for easy hand of reaching it,paint brushes,paint, foam stickers,cotton balls,brown paper bags which are 50 for $1.00,googly eyes,fabric which is in use for teachers help,colored paper,paper plates,plastic cups,you can if you want get giant pencils for the litte kids!!! And for you: stapler, printer,computer,pencil cup holder!
