'What I love and what's interesting about Bal Harbour is that it's a chic winter destination but doesn't exclude children,' says Carolyn Travis, director of tourism for Bal Harbour.

The ocean-side destination is home to the Bal Harbour Shops, an open-air collection of more than 100 noteworthy boutiques and eateries. The Bal Harbour Village Kids Camp, a children's day camp at the Sea View Hotel, is also set to debut.
