Pisa

Pisa

The Leaning Tower is as awe-inspiring as it looks in photos. For a breath taking view of the city, don't miss the chance to climb to the top of this bell tower, which began leaning soon after its construction began due to a poorly laid foundation.

After you've exhausted yourself sightseeing, take a break at the luxury Bagni di Pisa Natural Spa Resort, known for holistic spa treatments, indoor and outdoor thermal pools, and a cavernous sauna. You'll then be refreshed and ready for a hometown foccacia.

Lucca

This charming walled-city was composer Giacomo Puccini's hometown. Several times a year Lucca hosts performances celebrating his greatest operas (La Boheme, Tosca, and Madame Butterfly) at the Church of San Giovanni.

From July 22 - August 22, Lucca hosts the Puccini Festival di Torre del Lago where world famous musicians perform in an open-air arena overlooking the Massacciuccoli.
