We despise slow Internet connections but even worse than that is when the Internet decides to completely pack up altogether.
This is what happened today when BT's broadband network left various parts of the U.K. without the Internet: temporary issues with their broadband services left customers totally stranded. If you're one of the unlucky ones you probably won't even be seeing this (unless mobile data is saving you) but in the future, when something of this apocalyptic magnitude happens, these are some things you can do instead.
Right, your Internet has deserted you so the first thing you can do is try to steal your neighbours' Internet. Better start hoping you remember the name of their pet pooch or their first love.
And tell her your woes.
Just in case something changes!
…or play Solitaire (which is basically the only time the game will ever be appealing).
You don't need to stop at one glass either.
